Daily Quest News: 4000 Honor a Misprint

by

As you can see here.

I’m not sure if you are familiar with the idea of daily quests, but they’ve been a welcome addition for many players. Essentially they allow you to do a number of quests once a day for reputation and a good amount of gold. I’ll be sure to write up a daily quest guide in the future to explain where to go and how to do it in more detail. In the mean time, however, I’ll sum it up by saying I average about 50-60 gold for about a half hour of questing, which certainly does help for saving for my epic flying mount!

The new patch promises some new daily quests as well. These include heroic dungeon quests, as well as Battleground daily quests, which will reward honor. Originally on the PTR, you would receive 4,000 honor for completing the daily quest. This seemed a bit excessive, but quite a number of players were excited at the chance to get some pvp/resillience gear in a short amount of time, especially considering the season 1 gladiator gear will be available to purchase for honor as well come next patch.

Alas, it was not meant to be. As it turns out, this was a mistake, and the quest will actually reward a mere 400 honor for the turn in, as well as a moderate amount of gold. Personally I don’t think it’s a huge loss. While I really enjoy PvP and arenas as a whole, it’s hard to miss what you never had in the first place. Also, who doesn’t like free honor anyway?
