Happy April Fool’s Day!

by

On the Warcraft Calendar, April Fool’s Day is something that many a player looks forward to. This is true even though I was admittedly fooled by the very first prank Blizzard pulled for the day. Personally, I would’ve loved a 2-headed ogre as a playable class, but it wasn’t meant to be. Other April Fool’s day additions included wisps as a playable class (with the ability to detonate!), as well as a Tinfoil Hat! This year Blizzard decided to come up with something a little different, the Bard Class!

Bard

Armed with the power of ROCK and abilities like “Epic Solo,” the bard brings wicked awesome group buffs to the table as well as pulverizing their enemies into submission with their tunes. I was debating as to how I would spec my bard. I’d likely have a tendency to go for the Epic Solo, as Mosh Pit leaves something to be desired. Buff bards, imo.

On another funny note, Blizzard announced that they will be getting back into the console realm. The Atari 2600, to be exact! With their latest console game: The Molten Core. Prepare yourself for all out 8 bit mayhem with solo and (what appears to be) cooperative play! Fight 6 different boss models, and take advantage of the wide variety of directions (8). Can you survive the Molten Core?

On a final note, I highly suggest heading over to the Warcraft forums today. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the changes to your Avatar. Also, lol.
