Jwink: 1.5 Hours

by

Ok, so I have been in Outland and have played a total time of 1.5 hours. During that time I managed to complete approximately 4 Body count quests and a handful of courier/gathering/drop quests. Just from completing those quests, I have replaced FOUR equipped items!
I replaced;

  • Vestments of the Atal’ai Prophet with Goldweave Tunic
  • Spellweaver’s Turban with Shadowbrim Travel Hat
  • Staff of Jordan with The Staff of Twin Worlds (these look exactly the same!)
  • Bonecreeper Stylus with Desolation Rod (this was close, they are pretty even except for damage dealt, but I finish monsters off with the wand to save mana.)
  • I went from looking like this; To This.

      I know the feeling, I loved Hellfire Peninsula right away on my druid. I hadn’t played much in end-game with him (I had one pair of blue Zul’Gurub pants) so his gear was, well, pretty awful, but right away I was able to get a huge upgrade to almost everything.

      In fact, the trinkets I got in Hellfire Peninsula are the ones I am still using (one was a quest reward, the other a drop out of the Blood Furnace instance there).

      See, I never even visited ZG. I was hunting for my tier .5 stuff forever. Of course, I had to get my tier 0 stuff first right? So I had all of it except for the shoulders. They drop off of Solakar Flamewreath - y’know, father flame in UBRS where Leeroy Jenkins wiped? yeah, I musta run that 75 times and the shoulders dropped my first run, where I lost the roll to another priest. :(
